Last weekend my husband and his parents went up to Rockport for the day. It was a beautiful, clear crisp day and being Halloween weekend, and out of season, it was relatively quiet (we didn't have it in us to try Salem). I can't imagine how crowded it gets in Rockport in the summer. It was filled with little shops (literally, small. We felt like giants.) and galleries.
We visited the
Rockport Art Association. I really liked the exhibition of
Zygmund Jankowski's work. These were two of my favorites:
